A delegation from Tema Lube Oil Company (TLOC), led by its Managing Director, Mr Amos Donkoh, presented a cheque of an undisclosed amount to the Ghana Navy Band on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, at the Eastern Naval Command.
Presenting the donation, Mr Donkoh stated that the gesture formed part of the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and symbolised its solidarity and support for the Ghana Navy Band as it prepares to commemorate its 60th anniversary. He expressed appreciation for the vital role played by the Ghana Navy in safeguarding the nation's maritime domain and acknowledged the significant contribution of the Ghana Navy Band to ceremonial duties, public engagement and the preservation of naval traditions through music.
Mr Donkoh noted that TLOC was honoured to support the Band as it celebrates six decades of distinguished service and musical excellence.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Naval Command, Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, the Command Operations Officer, Commander Lucas Xose Kofi Ocloo, expressed the appreciation of the Command and the Ghana Navy Band to the management and staff of TLOC for their generous support.
He assured the delegation that the donation would be used for its intended purpose and emphasised that the contribution would support preparations towards a successful anniversary celebration while serving as a source of encouragement to the Band as it marks this significant milestone in its history.
The Managing Director was accompanied by the Production Manager, Mr Fredrick Akyen Odoom, the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager, Mr Wonderful Targo Dadzie, and the Manager for Human Resources and Administration, Ms Rebecca Lovelet Senaya.
