NAVAL HEADQUARTERS HOLDS SEND-OFF CEREMONY FOR NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL

Ghana Navy held a send-off ceremony for the 2025/2026 National Service Personnel (NSPs) at the Naval Headquarters (NHQ) to mark the successful completion of their service.

 

The Acting Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Riverine Command (RIVCOM), who also doubles as Deputy Chief Staff Officer (DCSO) in charge of Administration at the NHQ, Naval Captain Isaac Ziem Aratuo, on behalf of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, and the entire staff, commended the NSPs for their contributions towards national development, urging them to uphold discipline, teamwork, punctuality, integrity and resilience in their future endeavours.

The President of the NSPs, Ms Portia Osei, expressed appreciation to the Senior officers, officers, senior rates, ratings and Defence Civilian Staff at the NHQ for their guidance and support throughout the year.

As part of the ceremony, citations were presented to the NSPs in appreciation of their service and contributions to the Ghana Navy and the nation at large. The NSPs also shared their experiences and reflected on the knowledge and professional exposure gained during their period of service.
