The Air Force Cadet Corps of Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) has paid an educational visit to the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), Nutekpor, on Friday, 17 July 2026.
The visit was aimed at exposing the cadets to the organisational structure, training programmes, and operational capabilities of the Ghana Navy while inspiring them to pursue careers in the Ghana Armed Forces.
During the visit, the cadets were taken on a guided tour of selected training facilities within the Command, where they received briefings on the roles and responsibilities of the various schools and units under NAVTRAC. They also had the opportunity to observe the Command's state-of-the-art training infrastructure, including the simulation centre and the Ship-in-a-Box. They also interacted with instructors on various aspects of naval training and military professionalism.
The visit forms part of NAVTRAC's continuous engagement with educational institutions to strengthen civil-military relations, inspire the youth, and create greater awareness of the Ghana Navy's role in national security and national development.
