The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), Commodore James Adongo Agambire, received the Commanding Officer of the Artillery Training School, Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Quaye, during a working visit to the NAVTRAC Headquarters, Nutekpor, on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
The visit was aimed at formally introducing himself to the FOC and the 7 Garrison Commander following his assumption of command of the Artillery Training School, where he succeeded Lieutenant Colonel Atuiri
Receiving him, Cdre Agambire congratulated Lt Col Quaye on his appointment and welcomed him to the Garrison. He assured him of NAVTRAC’s continued support and emphasised the importance of sustaining inter-service cooperation, information sharing, and collaboration to advance the Ghana Armed Forces' training objectives.
During the engagement, Lt Col Quaye expressed his commitment to maintaining the cordial working relationship between the two formations and pledged to build on the collaboration established by his predecessor. He noted that effective cooperation among training institutions remains essential to enhancing the operational readiness and professional development of personnel within the Ghana Armed Forces.
The visit concluded with discussions on matters of mutual interest. It reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to strengthening professional ties in support of the mission of the Ghana Armed Forces.
