The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, paid a goodwill visit to the Indian Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency (HE) Manish Gupta at his residence on Wednesday 7 May 2025.
The two discussed ways in enhancing cooperation between the Ghana Navy and India, with a focus on training and capacity-building, maritime security, amongst others.
The CNS and the Ambassador expressed optimism about the future of cooperation between them, in order to strengthen their already existing partnership.
As a gesture of goodwill, Rear Admiral Bessing presented a plaque to Ambassador Gupta and also decorated him with a custom-made Ghana Navy Kente stole.
